OT-New GM 6.0L truck air injection?

Hello everyone,
Another off-topic post sorry!!! Was just curious...I'm looking for accessories for my GM 6.0L engine and some specify with air injection or without air injection. What the heck is air injection? I'm guessing it's in the exhaust but how do I know if I have it? What does it look like? What does it do? I've tried doing some investigating and have come up empty-handed. HELP?!

Maybe they mean an aftermarket air induction system (ram air)??? I would go to pickuptruck.com There is a Chevy forum similar to this forum. The responses aren't usually as quick as this board, but they should help you.

Hi-Perf,
I think it is referring to something in the exhaust but I can't be sure. I know that they are not talking about air induction but they are talking about air injection. I've never heard of it before. I'll check out that website and hopefully someone will have some answers for me!!! Anyone else have ideas?
