Friend buying 22' Activator. Price & opinions please
I don't know a whole lot about them. It's a 1994 with a Merc 250. He wants something small to play around in local Long Island Sound waters. Seller will drop his price to $10,000.
I didn't see it yet but assuming "average to good" condition, what is a good price? |
There is a 22 Activator for sale at Norwest Marina in South Norwalk. Is that the one you are talking about? I saw it for the first time on Sunday, but I drove by too fast to get any details. All I know is it is all white. I think the 10K price is in line with what it is worth.

I recently bought a 1991 22' and it seems to be very solid. My boat is the old "Hyperactive" that holds a National Championship in Factory Class. Try calling Activator (631-226-8231)and speak to Mark, he took the time to call me back and tell me what he remembered about my boat, nice guy. The investigation that I did into Activators came back all positive, the consensus is they build a great boat. Good luck. PM me if you want to talk further.

Gladhe8er; yes that's the one. I saw it last night & it's spotless. It has a merc 200, not 250, shortened shaft on a bracket with a jack. New interior, new gauges, real clean. I think my friend is going up around 9a.m. to make a deal.
Thanks for the imput |
