Last minute Miami plans - need help!
 

Trying to set up some last minute travel plans to catch the Miami show. My wife and I will be arriving around noon on Saturday(16th) and leaving 24 hours later. Need some help. Flying into Lauderdale-how close is this to any of the venues? Any ideas for a last minute "available" hotel room in the area? How tough/costly to get transportation around the area?

Ok you will be about 30-45 minutes (depending on traffic) north of the Convention Center in MiamiBeach. If you have been to Miami before and are somewhat comfortable getting yourself around, then rent a car at the airport and go to the convention center. I would recommend staying to sleep in Lauderdale maybe somewhere on the beach that way you'll be closer to the airport in the morning and it'll be easier to find a room.
