Flying Biggus
 

Anyone who as at the Sebago Lake Poker Run yesterday saw a 30' Mystique blow away the fleet at the start of the Thunder Run and it was piloted by none other than Biggus. He timed the start perfectly and laid on the sticks as soon as the paceboat gave the signal. It was a thing of beauty and the boat ran flawlessly.

Ahhh...That may be because the fast boats had already taken off... about 20-30 boats took off before the pace boat dropped the flag.

I don't think so Greg, Phil (pace boat) gave us the go signal.

What fun day! We had a blast!!!

Yes, he probably did give the go signal, after half the pack had already gone. It was a fun day. We ran hard all day with no failures, that always makes it a good day :D

If 20-30 boats jumped, how come there was only one 30' Cigarette out in front of everybody else? I was south of Squaw Island and watched the start and Kurt just got a great, legal start. It was a performance Bill Muncey would have been proud of. Your boat looked awesome, especially later in the day when you were blasting across the lake back toward Jordan Bay at about 110 or so. A great day had by all.

We need pics and I thought he had a 38.

I though a "legal start" in a poker run meant that eveyone had life jackets on and the captain was deemed sober.

He had not dropped the flag... I was beside the Pace Boat, literally, about 30 feet from him, all the way till about squaw island. The pace boat had not dropped the flag, everybody took off, i still waited and waited and waited, Kurt, Tim, Jay, the Patriot Fountain, as well as about 15 others had already taken off. I said enough is enough and got on the sticks and blew by the pack just south of sqauw island. I looked to my right and saw Roy coming on the inside, I headed to the south side of Frye island and kept pulling away from him all the way to Long Beach. I slowed down to about 90 for a few minutes, let Roy go by and reeled him in again. We then had to slow down and take a hard right to avoid a boat coming out of the Songo, we both got on it again and I pulled away for a third time all the way to the finish area. The Talon ran hard and clearly dominated the day.

Either way, you are hearby ordered to appear before the Man Card committee. Bring your card. It may be suspended, or revoaked. Kurt, make sure he makes his apperance, and doesn't have a date to see Celine that night.

Cuda if your wife got the tickets for a suprise for you then you would go as well :D:D
