I had a 2000.00 gas budget this year and I am down to about 600.00 and mine is a single engine 454 nova spyder ran 100 miles 141.00 in gas

I blew a lower on a Merc 250 almost the same way no warning just boom.

A 36 concept w/2-250's I drove her home the same way at about 40mph.

Lowers blowing on merc OB's is very common... They're just about as strong as an Alpha drive... Almost the same parts too...
