Angry We LOST this round

The judge in Manatee Lawsuit has ruled against any new science in the way Manatee's are protected.

Shor',
I'm afraid you guys are next!
I have a dinner party to go to @ Capt. Tom Mcgill's house Sat. night, I will find out if this is going to be appealled, which I'm pretty sure it will be.
Man, what a bummer! Plus, the STM is back in court in Washington DC!!!

Baja...What spreads like a disease...?...I hope your not talking about the Manatee..It's no wonder the people that are fighting STM and doing more damage than good for their cause....well now it's the waiting game..give it 10 years and lets count Manatee again...that will tell the story

These restrictions that'll be enforced will not only "save the manatee" but will also do a host of other things too.

No more marina expansion or new docks.
Buisnesses will fail due to lack of customer base because they depend on the boating and fishing community.
Property values will drop.
Local government will loose tax revenue causing layoffs of municipal employees (policeman, fireman, trash collectors, waste treatment, ect.).
Local unemployment will rise.
The area will fall into a major recession/depression.

But that's ok, we're possibly saving a creature that may or may not be on the road to extenction.
All in the name of "Save the Manatee".

Right on Iggy. The depression might be a bit stretched but the economic effects will DEFINITELY take their toll! Way to many negatives and very few if any positives. Let's see...negatives out way positives...seems simple enough to me, but we ARE talking about politicians here, NOT logical thinkers!

Go to this website, pull down on the main page and click on "Lee County, Dock permits in Limbo" Also, read the article, "Manatees and boating Facts, March 2002".

http://www.standing-watch.org/

Iggy, BD, Shor' , Nasty Habit, etc, we have got to get more organized and fund this appeal. I'll have more info. after the dinner party Saturday night.
Please go to
www.cfwbrevard.org
Or the Standing Watch site
This Bad News has not hit their websites yet, but it will. This decision is so one sided, that it is very appealable.
