Why is it that everybody on OSO either owns an Outerlimits/Nor-Tech/Scarab/MTI/Eliminator/Hustler/Baja/Cigarette/or anything else but no one owns a Hallett?

My buddy has an old Hallet V-drive flat bottom. Been in his garage for 20+ yrs. Cool to look at!

Yes, I had one and loved it. Sold it last year due to too much sun in too many years. This is the boat that pioneered the side door, I'd never have another boat without it. It works on a hoist, on a beach, or just boarding the boat in deep water. The 40 comes standard with a head, wet bar, lots of storage and almost any power. Fred Inman of IMCO just sold one of his, another is for sale now as he has a new one on order. If you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help. I've owned a lot of Halletts, have a lot of experience with them....

Frogman, thats the ONLY way to beach a boat...
ps, the reason you see the brands you mentioned on the east coast is that it does somewhat become an east/west thing
