Jeff builds alot of supercharged alcohol Drag Race engines. Not really into marine performance.

Read into what Dean is saying- IF you choose to go with a shop that doesn't build marine engines absolutely make sure you don't end up with a drag type cam with the wrong centerline or your next thread will be my motor reverts water at idle or no matter how I prop my boat I can't get it to run in the power band, this happens more than I can count on this forum,Smitty

Save yourself a lot of trouble and just go with Gellner Engineering... Or go with an automotive builder... kick yourself in the nuts... never use your boat... then go with Gellner Engineering...

Or the motor was too tight and my motor blew up!

There are lots of reputable marine builders and some even have great prices if you shop around! ;)

I was just looking for machine work. Need some block work done.

Reason i ask is a friend has a pair of 650hp 502 blower motors he had done there, ran them for a few years and no problems whatsoever. (and he runs the pizz outta that boat) :D
