Is there an association that they belong to that has a website with a list of surveyors?

Lake Texoma may have some as well.

Boattrader has a surveyor search function.

Most surveyors are not very familiar with go-fast boats. I had my mechanic out of eisnehower yacht club (texoma) do a mechanical inspection for me. It will be about half as much as a surveyor and he can tell you how much it will cost to fix (if needed). Besides - after all the horror suveryor stories I've read hear I don't think I could trust a surveyor. Eisenhower is still under water so I'm sure he could get on it fast being that his shop has about 8ft of water in it.

Im a surveyor but have not practiced in 3 years... Im accredited. MMS, and USSA. I can pass on some names from our roster. My membership has lapsed so I guess Im not "officially" USSA..
Best I can do..If I had more experience with Gofasts I'd do it. Im just now takin my refresher course to start surveying again.

Your best bet for high performance would be to have it hauled 3 hours south to Pottsboro Tx, and have Dereberry marine do it, he does not do surveys, but a leak down and all mechical inspections he would be your guy!!
