Is that tow line attached to the back of your truck? :D What's the story?

p.s. You missed an awesome weekend!!!!!

Looks like someone stole it and was making a run for the border, lol. No sails up so they probably ran it out of gas and ditched it. Saw the same thing in Imperial Beach south of San Diego a few years ago.

tanner 07-26-2007 12:32 AM

Story is it's been out there like that for a week now! I don't know what the deal is....Guess they dont want to pay the couple G's seatow would charge to get it off the beach. They've been camping on the beach next to it so no one messes with it....Like anyone would want to mess with that POS!:D

Three rules of realestate...Location, location, location....Trust me, the house is not spectacular....Built in 1927 it's one of the first houses on the beach....However, the VIEWS are what it's all about....Beach/ocean out front, Harbor out the back. Here's pics from our deck I just took. And here's a picture (circa 1930) of our house:D We've actually considered moving to Florida/Hawaii (two of the places we like to go) but we just love it here too much!

That boat was brand new from Europe. Shipped to Port Huneme Harbor and going to be taken down to Newport to it's new owner. From what I hear it was a 2 year wait for the build. Dock actually gave way when the crane lifted the yacht off the ship to be placed in a cratle. One of the supports for the crane went through the dock causing the crane to rock and the Yacht to drop. Now its an insurance nightmare and a pissed off owner.

Well, it's a good thing he stopped since he was cut off. Good ad for tow straps.

Tank is being modest. It may be old but it is a very cool house with lots of charactor and will be spectacular when he's done renovating. Oh, and "Jesus" is watching over it too! :D

Tank, let me know when you're ready to do that roof. I'll trade out labor for sushi, the couch and boat rides! :D
