Default GPS in the Truck

Looking for an after market GPS navigation system for the Truck. Anyone have good experience with a certain one, or one to stay away from.

Thanks

WILL

I just got a Garmin ZUMO 550 for my bike and it works great for the truck, too! It actually comes with a nice car mount in the kit. On the bike, it's bluetooth to your helmet, does handsfree phone calls, and plays MP3's as well.

I got the Dell Axiom PDA and it has a KILLER GPS. I have used the Tom Tom, Pioneer, and Garmins and have noticed that some times they take me some completely messed up route. This thing seems to do very well with routs. Plus it is a PDA so you can do a lot more with it then just use it as a GPS. Mine even can control all functions of my house like lighting, stereo, tv's, and HVAC.

Garmin 660. Very versatile. Portable. Rechargeable, built in battery lasts a looooong time. Blue tooth compatible. Very easy to use.

I use the Garmin in my 08 GMC more than the Factory Navigation.

I use my Garmin 476C in the boat and in the truck. I like the TomTom better for the car but it works pretty decent as a dual purpose unit. If you want a full time gps for the car, make sure its a touch screen, just speaking form experience.

One thing I found out is my GPS says I'm going 3 mph slower than what my truck speedo tells me....

Garmin 60CSx. Small hooks to computer and very portable. Used it in the race boat for the St. Clair race and got the speeds and tracks to see how we did.
