This is what Tres does when he is not teaching classes. Tres and Veronica, our five year old mare takes reserve in the championship this weekend. We had a blast but it was hoootttt.

I heard Tres loves the horse thing. I guess when you win everything in offshore racing you gotta find something else to do. He has to miss not having a few extra thousand HORSE power at his hand though!:party-smiley-048:

Tres took us to the stables the last time we were there in Ocala to show us the Paso Finos. I know that they have added more since then and I don't know if they are even in the same place or not because that has been a few years ago now, but I can tell you that they are incredible horses. If you ever get the chance, they are absolutely worth seeing. The rhythm of their step/gait is unbelievable and each one certainly has it's own different personality.

My sister has ridden Paso Finos for around 20 years now.

Looks like Abe Lincoln!!

Tres lives in the horse capital of Florida, and probably the second, or third best horse town in the country. We pass by his place everytime we go to Debbie's parent's house. Beautiful country, and a pretty ride down the road they live on.:cool-smiley-011:

Hot Duck,
We are in the same location from when you visited us before but we built a beautiful 8 stalls barm up on the hill for our horses, we had 4 babies this year, 2 fillies and 2 colts and we love every minute of it.
Ocala is the best place to be if you have the passion for the horses. Tres just bought me a Trote Galope, they are awsome to ride and totally different from the paso but both breed comes from Columbia.
Anyway, we are having a blast up here and would never go back to the crazy rat chase of Fort Laudetrdale, unless it is to visit :cheer:

Dave,
Stop in next time, will have a cook out!

Jacky

You got that right! I moved to Deland three years ago from Pinellas County, and I'd never move back. I am going there this weekend to visit my parents. That's the only thing I miss about living there.

That is our barn only and we built it last year, the farm is on hwy. 326 across Bridlewood Farm.

Hey Chris,
I have not heard from you since we moved here three years ago, we are keeping out of the race cuircuit so we don't get to see anybody anymore. Hope all is well with you!

Mark,
Bolero is a stallion but he act like a mare, so sweet and gentle, anyone can ride him! :D
