Atlantic Ocean: BIG AIR and 1 MAN JUMPS OUT !!!
Great sea conditions for the NJPPC Barnegat Bay Poker Run, at least for taking photos anyway... :D
I have to thank the Outerlmits, Cigs, Skater, Eliminator, Fountain & Donzi owners for putting on a great show for the camera today! :party-smiley-020: With a last minute sponsorship deal from Marine Max of Brick, NJ, they supplied a Jet Ranger Helicopter to cover the Poker Run today. What a sweet air conditioned ride that was ! Thank you Dave P and the NJPPC for all of your help and support! So if you're interested in seeing some big time air on the Atlantic, check this out : NJPPC Barnegat Bay Poker Run Remember to checkout the jumper too! ;) Enjoy! :D http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...B_070402cw.jpg |

Awesome Time as Always! Thanks NJPPC!:party-smiley-020:
I was fortunate enough to be on the boat that picked up the chopper diver and had a front row seat! Thanks Sharkey for the great picks! A special thanks to the medics from MONOC; Rick, Jess and Glen (diver) they make every one of our runs the safest possible! :ernaehrung004: |

Where's the jumper? Here is one Fountain that came out the Inlet but I never saw them after that. I assume they turned around and went back in. http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...BB_070730c.jpg |
And here you have 2 - 42 Fountains that stayed inside and didn't attempt the inlet... (Not that there is anything wrong with that !) :D

The Barnegat Bay Poker Run once again proved to be a great run!
The final boat count was a total of 35 boats that blasted around Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean for a few hours. The only downside was that is was VERY VERY HOT!!!!!!!! Both during the poker run and also during the evening's dinner party. A HUGE THANK YOU to Tom Cole and MARINEMAX! MARINEMAX provided us a helicopter at the 9th hour and we had Sharkey once again in the air along with Glenn "that boy ain't right" Walsh with his dive gear on (just in case). Fortunately we had a great day and everyone was safe! Tim Sharkey took some AWESOME photos!!!!!!! See the photos above as well as follow the links to Tim's website: http://sharkeymarine.pages.web.com/powerboat/njppc.html Congrats to our Winners as well (who all had Full Houses!!!!!): 1st Place Andy Heilbroun (1st time poker runner with NJPPC!) 2nd Place The Intile Family (Mike, Rose, Jessica & Brian) 3rd Place Joe & Laurie (Joey B & Mrs Joey B) Barbosa In addition to winning, The Intile's and Barbosa's donated their winnings to Shore Dreams For Kids! This was also 4th Time that the Intile Clan brought home a trophy!!!!! Thanks again to everyone who attended!! Best Regards, Dave Patnaude President NJ Performance Powerboat Club www.njppc.com |
