John, judging by that post, I'm guessing that they have your pain under control :) I hope you are making good progress with your back

In the offshore business only a few can go by their initials alone. KE is one of them. KE is good as the best and better than the rest. :cool-smiley-011:

On any of those...Why would they bore a new block @ 4.560 right from the get go?
The only thing I could guess would be thinner walls for better cooling?
Anybody know for sure?

I at one time thought KE was the shiznits..one of the best around...but by my experience on my KE675 and lack of support from their company at the time soured me on the whole custom engine builder program. Relunctantly, I ended up going this route again, but this time with a mild built 600CI Young Performance 750. These motors were awesome, smooth running, idled like my previous 500 efi's, and never had a problem. Eddie for the most part fixed the KE675's idleing problems before I traded it in. Jeff

BTW, those KE motors do look cool.

The supercharger looks restricted going into that tunnel ram, but I'm sure Keith knows what he is doing. Looks complicated though.

I thinks its a kenny bell.

I like the 875 motor looks cool, But I bet you could build 2 850 Whipple charged motors for the price of that one.But ya get what ya pay for ,it has some High dollar stuff in/on it:D

The HP #s are pretty high for a NA motor

Whipple Superchargers

I would much rather put Whipples on my HP500's (carb).
