We'll be down the 18th-26th. Just follow the slow 36' Apache. We usually find something to do.

Go to the walmart in town, they have maps of the lake that are marked with all the places that you can go and eat. Even without the map you'll be able to find plenty of places to eat and drink.

Keep an eye on GD, threads for LOTO will be stickied soon, one already is.

You can't go wrong with this advice. :cool-smiley-011:

I'm planning a short vacation from Aug 22 to the 26th, so I'll be there too. Looking forward to meeting some of my OSO family.

Thanks for all the input. I hope to be at Tan-Tar-a around 1-2:00. Look forward to meeting some of you and having a great time.

30 MPH night time speed limit? Really?

What about mufflers for the time period I described? Wed 22-Sun 27?

Yes it is 30mph at night and they will stop you and do have some radar guns.

Muffler/noise violations are hit and miss on if they are enforced. Mostly not enforced.

Patrol lengthens the leash the Shootout weekend for noise, but 30mph will be enforced for sure. Also have seen some BUI checkpoints in past. Watch no wake zones, keep passengers off the sunpads while in gear and 1/2 hour after sunset make it 27mph, don't want to give them a reason.....
