Default Dale Hollow Lake - favorite coves?

We are spending a week 8/20-27 on Dale Hollow (houseboat) and are seeking advice on favorite spots to see and to dock for the evenings.

Would like to see as much of the lake as possible over the week.

Thanks

We are starting from Holly Creek on the west end of the lake.

Some big power might be in early for Labor day, on your way to Sunset go deep into Eagle Creek (4/5 S turns) and see if anybody is running....

Just upstream, around the Bend from Wolf River Marina is the only place that I know of that people hang out.

Up past Wolf River marina-you must be talking about the cliffs where everybody rafts up and jumps. There is another spot past Sunset that's pretty good too. We camp at Obey River campground or Star Point when we go down there. It's always a great time. Rafted up at Eagle Creek a few times but haven't been down when there are a lot of PB's there. Did see a real nice 32 Skater at the cliffs two Saturdays ago. Can't remember the guy's name on the side though.

PS-For regular gas, Star Point was the cheapest by 30 cents a gallon first weekend of Aug. Don't know that I'd try to gas up houseboat back there, but thought I'd throw that in.
