The only thing missing was a "hold my beer and watch this." At least there was at least one guy who had some sense when he was scrambling to put his life jacket on. |
It's so funny I had to watch it again !! I did notice though that the driver never let go of his beer can !!! Also where this was filmed is that nasty corner when everyone else is leaving the Party cove and the water is really big there. A big boat sank there a few years back too.

That is funny, but CigDaze is right. That could have been another boating accident due to the "fast boats" making the water too choppy. No one would mention that the pontoon was probably way over capacity and loaded improperly to boot.
On a lighter note, we used to have a 20' steel pontoon (yes-steel!) when I was a kid that was heavier than heII and when we would go out on the Ohio with it the front door would blow open and wash everything out the back. Finally ended up putting a piece af diamond mesh across the back so the stuff would at least stay in the boat! |
