We had an awesome time for our first 1000 Islands Poker Run!!! Loved the two by two start....all runs should do this.
Pace boats were easy to see, the marshalls along the route made it easy to know where you were heading and everyone in Kingston made us feel like a rock star with all the boats lined along the route, and can we say the cities along the way with spectators was something we're sure we'll never experience at another poker run.
Weather couldn't have been any better.
There were three of us in boats that came down from the Cleveland area and unfortunately we had one boat out in the first 5 miles due to low oil pressure. Didn't stop them from driving to the lunch stop and hopping on one of the remaining two boats.
We met soooooo many nice people. Frank @ Typhoon Marine, the Jersey group in the Fountains, the Hustler group from near Syracuse, Rob & Rachel from Billet Engines.....the list goes on and on.
Thanks PRA for one of the most memorable runs we know we'll ever experience.

We were the number 2 pace boat, and running next to Predator made a great weekend that much more enjoyable.
Steve, It was great to finally meet you. I have appreciated your support for the fund raiser we did for Jennifer.
I think you are in this pic. I see Frank with Typhoon at many of the runs. Great guy and Captain. Donzi was well represented.

That's me on the back hatch. I'm not sure what I'm trying to tell Frank, but it looks like it required both arms and a lean ....
It was great to finally meet you also. Good luck with your new boat search.
This was my view for the weekend....
