Man that sucks to hear. I'm really glad everyone is OK.

Boats can be fixed and it sounds like he did a good job of avoiding that boat at all cost......and almost at the ultimate price. One way or another that other driver will get whats coming to him....... Regardless of whose fault it is - YOU STOP.

Boats can be replaced People can't. I would rather loose an entire boat then see someone killed or even injured badly. Glad everyone is Ok

Jeff maybe that is why it rolled. You left half of the pistons out of one motor and the weight inbalance caused it to go over. Seriously I am glad that everyone is ok.

Sad story, and i'm glad all are OK.
Boating education is critical, but the problem is you can't teach people common sense.

Any updates on this? Was this the gas man's boat? Glad all are ok.

The call came in from a boat that had clipped a bouy in Galveston Bay and it was taking on water fast. It took only 20 mins for the boat to sink. The 2 men onboard were found 2 hours later about 3 miles from where the boat went down..... Had they been using a radar this accident would have never occured.....same instance with the Skater. My point is if you can afford something like a Skater then why not spend a little more on a small radar or some brighter running lights? All you need to do is add alchohol with darkness and you have a recipe for disaster. I am not saying all HP boats run at night drunk but there are people out there that do. For this reason I stay on the dock when darkness falls.....

Capt,You are way off base here,It may have been 7:00 at night but it wasnt dark, they were running in daylight.Night time would be after 9:00pm

Just to clarify,he was also a real certified captain too!
