Powerquest 320 LSC
I am looking at a 2005 Powerquest. Twin Yanmars. Not familiar with the boat but looks like great boat. Have been looking at beamier SeaRays/Regals/Formulas. Any advice or opinions?

Powerquest made/makes a nice boat. Not sure if the new owners are going to continue this part of the line or not. I was on a 320 one time (sitting at a dealer) and it was a nice boat that was well made. From what I recall, the layout was very user friendly. However, I do not have any experience on the water with this hull.
I really like the Formula line a lot... oh yeah, I own one too If you look at Formula, give Magicfloat a call (here on the board) and he can hook you up.

My folks have a 32 SeaRay Sundancer which sounds like something you're trying to compare the PQ too. If I was going to do a lot of cruising and overnighting, I would go with the SeaRay. If I was looking for something to pack a bunch of people on and get around fairly quickly, the PQ is the choice. The extra foot and a half of beam is noticeable and twin Inboards are easier to dock IMO, than twin I/O's.
Both boats are nice, the PQ is probably built tougher. While they are both 32 foot "cruisers," they are very different in ride and performance. I miss the speed of the PQ but I don't miss the cabin. The mid cabin is only good for storage, it's like a coffin. The SeaRay is much more liveable and has far more storage.
My folks SeaRay has the same 6.2 litre engines that my PQ had. The PQ went nearly 60 mph (58 on GPS) and the SeaRay does about 35 mph. Both are great in rough water. Hope this helps.
