Tool Case

3 Attachment(s)
Here are some pictures of a new soft sided tool bag, that can be left on your boat. We will make and sell these through the OSO office once I see the response for these. Also if you are with a boating group like E-Dock we can use your own logo on the front with a minimum order of one dozen. The bags will have the new OSO logo on them. Also they can be ordered without the tool inserts and you can use them as a laptop bag. The laptop in the picture is a 17" screen so you can gage the size of it. Please let me know what that you think. They will retail for $85.00 and are american made right in good old chicago.

Looks good. Ill take one:D

bgchuby01 08-15-2007 06:28 PM

As soon as I see enough of a response I will have them made and shipped to the OSO office where they will sell them to you.

bobonthis 08-15-2007 09:22 PM

E-DOCK would buy them if you could make them refrigerated and one side held red bulls and one side vodka...

SBRT would buy them now because they would hold their crack pipes..needles...bongs...etc..:D

TexomaPowerboater 08-15-2007 10:51 PM

Wish you could get it with tools.

waterboy222 08-15-2007 10:59 PM

Like anyone on Edock ever needs tools.. Theyd just use them to pry open the next redbull... Id get one, and use it..

I can vouch for Jeff on this deal. They are very good quality. He showed me his with Tinkerbell embroidered on it.:D :D

bgchuby01 08-16-2007 03:07 PM

Yeah my bag had Frankie's nuts in them

thunderusone 08-16-2007 04:28 PM

$85.00 for a screwdriver holder is high for me. If it was an actual tool bag constructed to carry the weight of tools and not laptops, I would be interested.

bgchuby01 08-16-2007 06:26 PM

It is made as a tool bag and you can have it made without the inserts for a computer. The company makes nothing but tool bags and cases

bgchuby01 08-16-2007 07:46 PM

even if you don't want one please tell me what that you think

thunderusone 08-16-2007 07:55 PM

Can you get one that is bigger and shaped more like a bag. My tool kit that I have now is a little bigger. I carry basic sockets, end wrenches, crescents for AN fittings, and a couple of diagnostic tools that will not fit in that. I am not saying that the quality is not good, it is just not big enough for my needs. It may work great for everyone else.

lucy 08-16-2007 07:57 PM

Jeff you need to change your avatar with the Red good looking track!

bgchuby01 08-17-2007 12:47 AM

I can make a bag in any size, Check out the website Chicago Case in Chicago and let me know which one works for you

Semper Fi 08-17-2007 01:15 AM

I have one of those bags and they are great.

Magnum Mark donated some of the those bags and his prop cases as raffle prizes at the Chicago Poker Run. The guys that won one of the bags said to me that it is really cool.

bgchuby01 08-18-2007 12:12 AM

They are being made as we speak with the OSO logo and with the SCOPE logo. They will be set up to purchase either as a tool bag or with foam inserts and used as a laptop bag. As soon as they are shipped to me I will take pictures and post them. The OSO bags will be sold through the OSO office and the other ones through me.

I'll take a picure of one that I have. It is the best I've ever used, but can't find them any more. If so I'd buy a bunch.

First it is made for marine industry. It has plastic that omits some kind of vapor that keeps tools from rusting or corroding (it works) It is similar in design to what you show above. One side has 2 rows slots / pouches for wrenches, screw divers, pliers and whatnot. The other side is a big velcro'd pouch that holds sockets (on a rack) or whatever you want. Then sewed on that large pouch is 2 more smaller velcro'd pouches - one larger one smaller.
Everyone of my freinds wants to know where I got it. My parents gave it to me for Christmas about 7 to 8 years ago.
If someone could copy this - they'd have the best tool case available.
No offense - but what I have makes the one above look cheap; and to make it worse, I think Mom/Dad only paid $30 - $40 bux for it at West Marine.

I'll try to take some pictures of it and post. If someone cam find more of them - I'll take 10.

thunderusone 08-29-2007 07:36 AM

Pics...pics!

bgchuby01 08-29-2007 07:36 AM

no offense but if your bag is so good then I suggest you take it to a factory and have them make you a couple hundred to sell. These bags are made by the chicago case company which is american owned and the owner is a long time member of this board. Oh by the way, did I mention that if you have black prop carry cases they are from him too. I would also think that west marine buys alot of items made overseas. Last I would doubt that you can still buy your bag for 30 or 40 bucs as you say. Are you still buying your gas for your boat for 1.00 a gallon?

lucy 08-29-2007 08:30 AM

that is way God make Blonds, Brunettes and red heads!;)

bgchuby01 08-29-2007 02:45 PM

95% of the number 6 prop boxes at the races and for private use are made by chicago case. The owner may be a little gay but his product is right on
