Considering the fact that I my wife and I live exactly 2 miles from where we work, I would be willing to bet that my TOTAL fuel consumption is equal, or less than many of the people that have the 1 or 1-1/2 hr. commute to work.

2112,were you out during Seafair? If so, did you notice any hostility?
Things seemed pretty cool around the docks at Kirkland and since I had engine problems I didn't spend much more than 20 minutes on the water. - Jeff

So............ just bend over and take it?

I could not find a place to park my trailer and truck after putting her in so I ended up spending the weekend on saltwater at my house.

People at the Coulon park ramp could not have been nicer. Lots of silly questions happily answered and plenty of compliments received.

No.........Don't behave like an idiot, and their complaints will have no foundation.

I'm glad I live in Alabama but believe me when I say that no state or no lake is safe from the folks that have an agenda. The Alabama boat ban bill became LAW and we were powerless to stop it. Enforcement has only been delayed because of our lawsuit. If we lose,it's over for performance boats on 3 lakes, and probrably 8 more. Be ever vigilant,as you could be blindsided the way we were.
