Cool I will next time I'm in town. Whats the new Project. Didn't you have a Formula? I see that old Scarab is for sale across the street. . It reminds me of the 79 I bought off of Egan a long time ago. He really did a nice job on that boat.

Russ,
You got it right about the Delaware, lots of water, always enough hot-rods to give you a run, and plenty of places to go.
I like boating on the river, my only complaint is the trash sometimes - it is like an obstacle course after a heavy rain, or a moon tide.
I wanted to go out on the river Saturday, but my father wanted the upper Chesapeake, so we went to the Chesapeake from Barber's Basin.
Where is the ramp in West Deptford (Riverwinds - did they ever build that ramp?) ?

Russ,
I heard the West Deptford ramp has 18" of water at low tide.
When in the river , I use the Gloucester city ramp. Cheaper then Hargroves , no strong tide to fight and you can come and go as you please(thry don't lock the gates at 7pm)Also no long no wake zone like Timber Creek. Follow Jersey ave in Gloucester to the end , the ramps right there. $150 season $12 daily
The trash in the Delaware did put a hurtin on one of my 30" Bravos between the island and the old ship yard a few weeks ago .
Thats why I've be launching in Delaware City and cruising the Chesapeake more this year than ever.

Mopower I hear good things about the Glouc. City Ramp. Are you the guy I talked to at Work ( The Jeep, Chry. Dealer)?
Smarty It would be cool to see ya out there sometime.
I dropped in at West Deptford and went up to Trenton and only seen one thing in the water, a picnic bench floating up side down. That may sound bad but thats a nice long cruise and there used to be alot more things floating around. You really have to look out real good anyway because of all the differnent size waves that come at you. Waves from the wind and tide, other boats, cruise ships, dinner cruise ships, Phila., duck boats, tug boats, etc. Thats what makes the river fun for me.
Here are some pictures of my new to me old boat (79 Pantera). If you see me out there run me down and say hi!

New Custom paint. White with House of Colors pearl orange and yellow graphics down with candy apple red. New interior with high back sit down seats. All white with The Pantera logos. New style windscreen in fiberglass. Monster Gauges and a race style shifter. The engine and drive are already done. Its a Mesa 502 making 585hp. Its already has external steering. Its sits to high in the trailer so I will lower the bunks and of course repaint the trailer and add Alum. rims.
