Have the dates been announced yet for 2008? What are some good hotels to stay at?

I do believe they are set. It's always the last weekend of April. check www.lakeracer.com for more details. You're this early into the planning, you can get a room at the Nautical (host hotel) or you can get a room at the London Bridge Resort which is down the channel a bit. Less crowds and you have docking there.
