I think itd be a blast to have as a second boat (if i was money enough to haaaaaaaaave a second boat).. other than not having much wave-crushing ability, itd be great for midweek runs on the lake..

masher44 08-21-2007 12:36 AM

probably get more out of it with a hatch

Tom A. 08-21-2007 06:47 AM

Looks like the boat is hooked up and running nice!

jryan26 08-21-2007 07:34 AM

Ive been on that thing at 115 or so. They say it runs well over 130!

My 23' cat is setup alot like that. I'm running a hatch over the motor though. Nothing like it!!!!!!! I would trade a river rocket over a large wave crusher any day.

I have not had any problems either. I think its because the boats are so light.

tblrklakemo 08-21-2007 09:09 AM

as long as we are playing this game.....ill take one of these as a second boat

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=8

or a DCB 22, talon 22.....anything small with twin clamp-ons

burtandnancy 08-21-2007 09:33 AM

How long do the water pump impellers last?

OLDRAT 08-21-2007 09:37 AM

Cale,

"Infomaniac" here on the boards built the engine for that
boat. He also owns Moritz Machine in Tulsa and Marine Assult Custom Engines.

The boat is a rocket, and he is a very knowledgeable person
and a good guy. He also has a few dragboat playtoys.
