Stack gets stacked.....

My customer brought this in on Friday. Seems he didn't know what channel markers are for and drove across a submerged sea wall. Sat in salt water for the evening until they lifted it then was left out on the trailer for a few weeks.
Too bad, it was a fun little boat and could take some big water. |

Whippled HP500 that is now junk. I'm expected to fix this for under the value of the boat:rolleyes:

Was the driver alright? He must have smacked that steering wheel pretty good.................
|
Oh my gosh that is such a sad sight! Sorry to see this.

How far into the bottom did he go? Clear through? It can be fixed.

Unfortunately the cost of re-building is far greater than the boats value. Sad, Craig painted this boat a few years ago and it looks great.
Tore the lower unit off and he said when they hit he was in the power pretty hard so I imagine the upper is hurt. He took the keel out, you can put your had through the floor! Amazingly the only injury was a broken arm. Could have been much worse. |
