Default Anyone familiar with Marine Power brand engines?

I don't know if those prices are current. 380HP 454 with FWC and EFI for $10k pretty much ready to bolt in. They seem to cater more towards cruiser/commercial. That 454 PFI intake looks just like a certain "HP EFI" intake from another mfr.

They make a great engine. They do cater more to the Ski boat and fishingboats. I know tige' uses them for all there ski boats. My buddie lurhs has them in it and i bought all my performance parts from marine power in La and have been extremly happy. If you need to know anything else let me know i can find out for you.

They are used frequently on the West Coast for ski and jet boat applications. They seem to make a good motor from what we have seen.

I beleive they are in Louisiana.

I bought two 502's from them back in 1995. Bolted them into a Cig Cafe racer. Ran the crap out of those things for over 1400 hours and they kept running. Never a problem, not a starter, fuel pump nothing.

Wow, it seemed what they had to offer was decent, but didn't expect all the positive responses. So why don't we hear more about them? Their prices are darn competitive for brand new crate units with FWC, crank-mounted raw water pumps, dual belts, dual filters, lots of good pieces....
