Sorry for your loss.

I thought the boat had an engine problem that couldn't be figured out...Blower Shaft or Coupler or something to that nature. What ended up being the problem and who figured it out and fixed it?

Sorry, I've been very busy with harvest.

It was a plasic coupler in the snout of the blower. The boat ideled perfect but would not get on plane. Not sure who the mechanic was that figured it out. It drove them crazy! They waisted 2 days trying to figure it out. Took all the time away from setting the boat up for the run. We had plans of switching the drives and removing 75 of the 95 gallons of fuel from each side. Next year we will be better prepared!!

I think Brad Smith is the one who figured it out. If I am ncorrect, somebody please correct me.

BattleCry 10-04-2007 02:04 PM

No need to correct you Sea-Dated. That is exactly who figured it out. It didn't take Brad 2 days to figure it out. I don't believe he was ever paid for or the part returned that he took off another customer's boat for your boat. How many other mechanics couldn't figure this out?

Sea-Dated 10-04-2007 05:03 PM

That is what I thought. I know who's boat they took the part of.
