Cranchi makes a very nice boat. Still a little unknown in the USA though.

Tony P. has his 48 Suneeker for sale for $199k :cool-smiley-011:

Granchi Boats

I insure a few of them and the owners seem to be pleased with them.

Have a 41 Med, mostly love the boat, very well built & sea worthy. Rides very well, pretty easy on fuel.

However I do not love the plywood backing on the cockpit upholstery. Also the pseudo-teak plywood deck.

A friend of mine has a 39 and they are really pleased with it. They prefer it over their sea ray 450.

Just don't scratch it, the gel coat on those boats are paper thin. I was working on a 39 a few weeks ago and it had the blue hull sides. Well there were a few VERY minor scratches that would easily sand and buff out on any other boat but on the Cranchi it was already into the white. Other than that I like them. Sharp looking boats. We sold them for a few years at the marina I work for.

Chris, Steve Marini has one for sale. I think its a 40'. I know its immaculate. Steve is the bald one who showed up at the Sacandaga run with the motorhome. He ran in the boat with me. He also has a 35' Formula and a 46' Black Thunder. Call me in the am for his phone number. If I was ready to make the switch, His boat would be mine in a second.

Most European man boats are not made to American quality. We are contantly fixing them, those boats being what most would consider the best. I do like the look of the cranchi though dont know much other then that.

You would switch over too if you saw one of these works of art.

There is a ton of comfort built into these boats.
