Are you financing or paying up front? If you are financing and shopping monthly payments watch the terms and interest based on the year of the boat.

10 year 30k @ 11% (older boat) = $413 month
15 year 45K @ 7.25% (newer) = $410 month

All boats listed above are nice, but if I was to buy a 25-28 foot single It would have to be a 26 Sonic

It has the most head room in that size, and has a full head with shower. you should be able to find these for 42-50k.

25 Active thunder,454 or 502 mag will get you close to 70.handles the rough stuff very well and you don't see that many of them,good lines.big cabin i think and in your price range.

I've got a 28ft velocity if you are looking for one, it has quite a bit of space in the cabin and is a very fast hull. It's a little more than you were looking to spend but just thought I would throw it out there.

If you could go 2' longer and +1 engine I've got something right up your alley. Formula 311 w/ superchargers. Perfect for poker runs and eating up offshore surf.
