Need Help. Pick out my next 25 to 28 foot boat.
Well my search continues. By boating season next year I will have my new to me boat.
What I'm looking for is a difficult combination to come by, so any help would be great. What I'm looking for is an 88 to 98 25' to 28 foot powerboat. I have around a 30K budget. My perfect boat would be a 28 Scarab Excel but I've been searching for some time now and I'm having some difficulty finding a nice one. So I'm expanding my horizons from the Scarab Line.
If I had the funds my choice would be a new Donzi 27ZX or 28 Nordic Heat but that's a little out of my price range right now.
Boats it cannot be:
Foutain 27 Feaver (I hate the beak)
Donzi 26/28 ZX
Here are my requirements:
25 to 29 Foot "Go Fast" boat
Single Engine
Fast. Able to hang on Poker Runs. Around 65-70+ top speed
Able To Handle Chop (Cheasapeake Bay) well.
Usable Cabin. A cabin with vbirth and love seats.
Sporty Lookiing Design.
The boats I've been thinking about are:
Scarab Excel 28
Velocity 26/28
Sunsation Aggressor 25
Formula 27 Fasttech
Any comments on these boats would be great. Also any other suggestions for boats would be greatly appreciated.

28 Active Thunder
28 Saber - if you can find one.
With your budget -
25 active thunder
Maybe an old 28 pantera.
