airdock, inexpensive, portable, and has no tidal issues(can float in almost no water), and you can assemble and dissemble yourself.
Not as cool as some of the others.

JET DOCK ALL THE WAY!!! The installation is marina friendly. You can see my boat in action at www.jetdock.com They used it for their video and research development. Very happy. The dock has held up after almost 10 years no problems. I love the fact I can walk around the dock and get at every inch of the hull when I need to clean. Contact me or Mrhorsepower1 for more information.

I'm in Michigan and have a Timmerman hoist. It is a hydraulic piston lift that runs on veggie oil, it sits on four legs at the bottom of your well so it requires no pilings to drive. It's very simple, fast, and even has a remote control. I know a guy in Detroit with a 1 year old one for sale it was built for a 42x cigarette if your interested email me for his info.

MANNING LIFT

No rocking, key fob to go up and down, very quick, each post can be adjusted independently, not attached to dock

In all my boating thus far its the only thing that has been absoultley perfect...
