I looked at the Donzi in Miami, and I liked the look of the boat very much. It may well be a tad faster than the 26, and I liked the design of the dash and the way the seats hold you in place. What i didnīt like is that the cockpit seamed very shallow for a 27 footer, and the cabin was a joke. You canīt use the benches to sit and chill, unless you remove your head beforehand.
26 has a deep cockpit and a very roomy cabin. Judging by my 25, you can throw a Baja hull around like a jetski, and it wonīt bite youi. I donīt know if Iīd try the same turns with a stepped Donzi hull.
As was already said, climb around on both, and drive them before you decide.

Thanks for all of your comments. Like I said I was pretty certain on the Outlaw until I saw the Donzi. What really got my mind spinning was the difference in price. I really want to drive both of them.
BajaFresh - believe me, I tossed around the idea of the a 30' with twins, but for me, I'm not ready for that. Double the gas, the maintenance and price of repairs. In addition, I still would like a boat I can more or less trailer around and use it as a lake boat.
JW in Texas - how does your ZR handle in the rough stuff. Have you had any problems with it? What motor do you have in it, 496HO?
On a side note, what are the advantages of a stepped hull versus the true "v" on the Baja. I know you can get more speed out of them, but what does it do for handling.
Thanks again...Rob B
