Rocky has been invited to be the Honorary Chairman of the Pt Pleasant race this weekend.

He will be one of a few old timers that have been invited by the guys of AMF. Thanks John Haggin.

Here is the program cover of the Benihana race the year after Bobby Saccenti won it in a monster of a boat.....the 44 foot MSV shown on the cover.

Bobby was the first winner of the race when it was sponsored by Benihana.

I grew up in NJ and loved going to the Pt. Pleasant races every summer! Rocky was always a true competitor.

I still have 2 mint condition programs from the early 80's from the PT. Pleasant races

One of his restaurants is around the corner from my work here in Newport and it is so cool when you walk in to see some of the old offshore racing pictures still hanging in the front entrance.
