Been hearing and reading it's getting really brutual in GH.

Ours too...the next six months is the best boating in FL.

We absolutely love her!!! We've been having some decent water around here. Saturday was kicking pretty good out of the NE with 2 to 3's easy, some 4's and Tuesday afternoon we were out in some water we would have never taken out Stinger out in.

The boat has been a head turner. We are surprisingly pleased.

South gales to 35 knots veering southwest in the afternoon...then becoming west toward evening. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning...mainly in the morning. Waves building to 10 to 14 feet. :eek:

ooppss...never mind that was the open water forcast....near chicago they call for 4-6 footers! :cool:

Were due for 3 to 5's Friday night.

Damn...for once a crap weekend when I'm NOT planning to go out! Fingers crossed for the Chicago Powerboat Club Beach Party next weekend...we do NOT need big waves when we're anchoring off Boater's Beach...only for the Poker Run!

ANy on of you midwest nuts ran the Gran Haven, pier 33/Thundermarine poker run? From Benton harbor to GH? Talking about rough water and air time.:D

Rob had a conversation with Bob Saccenti back in July and when he mentioned that we boated on Lake Erie, he said to Rob "you guys can keep those f'ing lilly ponds, I'll boat on the ocean any day over the Great Lakes.

I guess he had a bad accident on Lake Ontario years aog and has hated them since.

Can't imagine boating in gale winds...no thanks...

That video is amazing! We love to watch the water when it gets big. When you start seeing waves at 7+ feet that is something to see.

Yes, I was sitting on my deck and I heard a familiar rumble, I looked out in the channel and sure enough it was that awesome Saber. I watched him make a few passes and as always the boat looked incredible..........Nice Rooster Parn!!!!
