Which 1st Boat
 

I've been boating all my life and have come to the point where I need my own. As I see it now, there are a couple of choices...

For sale locally is a '85 Baja Force 200 with a 350 alpha. It needs only minor things. To bring up to par, paint (at least very involved buff) and interior. Sticker'd at 3000. i take it for 2. good deal right?

My heart has been set, for as long as i can remember, on a 30' scarab. Something in the '77-'83 range. With the 454/TRS set up. These are fairly common from what I can tell and I've seen them in turn key condition for 10-15,000.

I'd have to save for the big boat for probably the next 2 seasons in my current situation.
