Default RIP My Friend

While I didn't know the videographer, I spent many years traveling and working with Tom when I was editor at Powerboat. He was one of the most talented photographers I've ever worked with and a great person. I miss him dearly and feel for his boys.

My heart goes out to Tom and his family and to everyone at Powerboat.

Sincerely,
Eric Colby

Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Powerboat Magazine and to the families of those aboard the helicopter. Get well wishes and prayers to the pilot.

Our Paryers are with all of them and their families. Tom was one of the best. I spent a few hours with him this past July at a Kick off party for the Catalina Ski Race and the Rum Run. They will be missed.

Eric,

Wonderful times, weren't they? I can't imagine Powerboat or even the world without his words of wisdom.

Really sad news, Tom was a great guy and an awesome photographer. My husband & I met him once in Atlantic City, NJ. We talked to him on the phone a few times. He took pictures of both our boats, one of which premiered on the cover of Powerboat Magazine. His photos are all over our house.
I called Powerboat Magazine to get the address so I could send a sympathy card to Tom's family. They said I could
post the address if anyone else cared to do the same.
