We saw this boat a couple years ago in the Keys. Bad Azz!

I was intercepted by an identical boat last year 5 miles off the Gulf coast at Naples. Was running from Marco Island up to Sarasota to do the poker run. After a few questions they could see that I was legit and we had a friendly chit chat. They said "we sure are glad you stopped cause we were having trouble keeping up." LOL Just doin their job.:D

BL6,
Macomb County Sheriff has at least one new Fountain with outboards and it is labeled homeland security also.
Homeland security is funding a lot of purchases and they probably require their name on the equipment.

They stopped to say, "hello" to me as well when we rounded the Southern tip in KW. --- and yes, they were very polite as well.

Coast Guard up here has tried to keep up a bunch of times. I only got to talk to them once while at anchor though.:D

They are on Lake Erie too. They have stoped me coming and going from Peele. Very friendly there too. :ernaehrung004:

It's nice to see our wasted tax dollars at work. What the hell, I saw that same boat on lake Erie with a crew of three. The city of Cleveland has one man patrol cars on the street, yet the "powers to be" deems patrolling lake Erie more dangerous. Boy do I feel much safer. . .not.

I almost wish you had not posted that. Already PO'ed because the Gov. blows God knows how much on that boat. Now even more PO'ed knowing they didn't find a good enough crew to figure out how to use it properly.

On land there is back up within a minute with a quick shout on the radio. On the water, unless you have more boats out, there may be no back up to be had.

For a second I thought these fellas was at least smart enough to tie their own shoes - different from their coleagues at the airports - then these pictures to remove ALL doubt.

Boat was dropped by maintenance contractor not the agents who run it.

BOBCATMATHEWS 09-13-2007 09:22 PM

still alot of money for a 65 mph boat.kind of reminds you of the "blue thunder days".

BUIZILLA 09-13-2007 09:32 PM

if they would spend more time on the water than at the tables at Monte's, we wouldnt have had over 200 refugee's walk up on our beaches in the last 3 weeks...

At least here we can see where the money went instead of some politician's or corporation's pocket!
When certain Fed. money is allocated, it has to be spent or lost by the end of the year. We have gotten some Fed. assistance on my volunteer first aid squad through the Homeland Security Acts and had to use it before the end of the year.

They must have put a coat of Speed-Kote on the bottom, and sprayed the bunks with Liquid Rollers. :D :D

Excellent point!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you've ever encountered a well armed smuggler or other azzbag on the water, you would understand.
