how popular are the 225-250 Suzuki's. They seem to have some of the best fuel economy of the bunch when compared, but also seem to be slower by 1-1.5 mph when compared on top end.

also the 300 suzuki, I keep hearing about it, but as far as the offshore performance factor that's like putting on a honda or a diahstu outboard on the back of a like a fountain...

fuel dilution is gas getting into the oil.

This is happening with some of the boosted PWC engines (Honda, Sea Doo and Kawasaki) and I am curious if the supercharged outboards have this same thing happening.

Gotcha! I am on all the fishboat websites and the Veraoclub website and have not heard of that condition with the Verado. IF you want to do some searches and are interested in getting a Verado on your next boat go check out
www.thehulltruth.com
www.veradoclub.com
www.outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com

These sites have tons of outboard engine info....some truthful, some not...just like anywhere.
