Ditto, and as for the fountain being 5' longer (old school mentioned) it's in the beak.

Both really good boats. The Formula hull is more forgiving to a novice driver. The Fountain should be a little quicker with the same power. The Formula will have a little drier ride. The Fountain will force you to be a better driver.

I rode in a 353 with 500's in Miami a few years back. Loved it! Have a buddy in a 35 Fountain with HOs. Great ride as well. It will run 78 every day and maybe 80 under light load and perfect conditions. If you plan to weekend on the boat, I would say Formula for the bigger cabin. Then there is the windshield issue as well. Personal preference.

Gotta ride em both. Like Ed said above, the Fountain is probably more a drivers boat.

Two good choices for sure.

Same power the Fountain is faster, but the Formula is a better ride. IMHO.
