races in maryland next weekend
 

i am planing on going to the races in cambridge this weekend it will be my first time attending does anyone know what is required for being in the spectator fleet?

No unfortunately too many things have come up that we have to deal with. Would love to do it though

It is Sould be a great time, if anybody wants to party, we'll be on my dads boat 40 chris craft sport fish, (SHAKE IT UP). Hope to see some fellow oso'rs there.

Nascar will be in Dover, DE this weekend so traffic will be very bad on 13 +301 + 95.

It's worth the trip, the Hyatt has a long floatting dock that you can get up and close to the race boats and the course is right out front we will be there Friday night

If it had some swells, this would be the best race site of them all.

We are leaving the South River early afternoon on Friday for the weekend...... We will be parked on "B" Dock for the weekend festivities!!!!!!!

Is there a Poker Run on Saturday this year?

I dont think so, I have heard of a Happy Hour raft Up on Friday Night at a local Restaurant, dont know the details just yet???

Is there a map by water that shows where it is by water. The map that the hotel shows as its location seems wrong.Thanks for any help.

We hope to be there Friday afternoon - Sunday afternoon. We plan to stay at a friend's dock on Trappe Creek, but could be talked into a raftup or other social gathering....

I plan on being there also. I am gonna watch it from my 27' Fountain Patriot edition. If anyone else is going to be anchored out give me a wave and we'll tie off. I would like to meet more people who boat on the Chesapeake.

I'll be there Sat-Sun. I'm coming by car. I think you get a much better view from the Hyatt's docks.

Coming by car on sunday. Great viewing area on the floating pier......kinda-sorta like Key West!

The race site is the Hyatt Resort in Cambridge. You can drive there, stand on the peir, buy a beer, and get your feet wet from boat spray, can't beat it.
