Just got word the engine is up and running. Should have some results later on today. Here are some photos of the piston that we are using compared to JE piston.

There won't be anything wrong with the engine or the dyno. Expect to see ~180 Intake air temps and hard to control detonation. What kind of ecu are you running?(not a hp factor, just curious)

I kinda figured you were shooting for higher horsepower than what I posted, the problem is you are at the limit of how much air that blower can move and the high IAT will be from spinning the blower very fast and the small intercooler. I would bet you will need to move to the 3.3L whipple which you can then reach your goal and have reasonable intake air temps. Pretty neat piece you've got there though. Good Luck

p.s. Mahle sure makes some nice pistons. I've used quite a few sets with zero problems

The JE skirt design is far superior for an endurance application. The inverted pin boss is nice on the Mahle to lighten the reciprocating mass , but it's short skirt will create more piston " rocking" in the cylinder. Looks like a nice project.
