Best place to advertise a 27' Activator
I have a 2001 Activator, twin power, great shape, on an aluminum trailer. Here's the link: http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o17675-en.html
Any ideas, besides this site, where I can advertise the boat?
Thanks.

I'm trying to sell my boat as well. I have had the most "bites" from Craigslist, but most of tham have been idiots asking top speed or offering worthless trades. Oh yeah, the e mail addresses are great too(i slightly modified them): [email]goodfella4eva1@aol, [email]jerseyslicker@aol, etc.

The problem with OSO ads is:
-The search doesn't work
-The sorting doesn't work properly
-In general if you are looking for a range of boats it's a total PITA to use.
It's really discouraging considering the quality of the boats listed.
I'd try eBay too, with a starting bid that is your minimum acceptable price and/or a reserve with buy it now.

Searching for a price range, or year range is the worst. You see it all. Example:
$100000
100.000
100,000.00
100 000.0
or
Year:
1999
1,999
99
'99
99'
There's just no way to process and sort that.

When people input info and in red letters next to price input field it says NO DECIMALS OR COMMAS and they put 75,000.00 we can not help that.
Furthermore, you can click on the column headers to re-arrange the price, length, year, etc by ascending, descending, etc.
If you give me an example of what you want to search for I can show you how to use it properly.

Funny, i've never used a search. I just look at everything new everyday. easier that way.
