Alabama boat ban lawsuit
 

Trial was yesterday. We have given it our best shot. Non jury trial ,we think the judge is fair and can not be bought by Alabama Power,a popular scenario in our state, We walked in with our one lawyer who was not afraid to spar with the 5 lawyers that the power company bought. They probrably make more in a month than he makes in a year,but he is better than they are because he is fueled more by passion than by money. It is now totally in the hands of the judge,a fair judge.We hope he will rule in our favor, but who knows. We have fought a good fight against incredible odds and the unlimited funds of Alabama Power.Lots of folks would not donate to our cause,saying it is wasted money,as you can't fight the power company,but we did,and if we win,maybe some of those folks will open their wallets to fight the appeal as we know the power company will appeal,hoping to break us,but we may surprise the big money guys with our grassroots efforts.
