Most states don't have a "sales tax"...they have a registration tax. You can buy the boat, you just can't register it without paying the tax.

when you register the boat in your home state, they will charge you the tax rate for that state. People try to do out of state delivery all the time to avoid that tax but it always comes back to bite them in the azz

In Arizona , no. Infact it's very inexpensive for you to register your boat. I have my Advantage registered there because I own a home in AZ. No sales tax .

If its going to OK, then you will not have to pay tax as long as its a 1998 or older. Every single state is different. I would have to pay 8.25% sales tax in TX regardless of what year boat. You should be able to look at the state tax website and get the info you need. Or if you don't speak tax, just give them a call.
