Default Where to stay for Lauderdale boat show.

I usually stay at the Marriot Marina which has been sold and is currently under renovations. The Bahia Mar is sold out. Any ideas or reccomendations for a decent hotel would be appreciated.

Thanks

If it were me I'd stay at The Atlantic. It's on A1A and within walking distance to anywhere you want including the show.

Blee,
That place looks real nice. However, I am going with a bunch of guys and need something a little more casual.

Thanks,

Paul

Just about everything near the shows will be full by now.
Try around the airport or even other areas. A couple of years ago crb76 and I would ride the water taxis from the downtown riverfront to the the Bahia Mar show and then the little water taxis to the convention center. The taxis from downtown had bars and great views and a way to wind down from the crowds after the show.
Plus at the show a short walk to the Bahia Cabana or the Beachfront area near Las Olas for food, drinks and the FPC Party.

Stay at the BEST PLACE IN LAUDERDALE

www.cocobelleresort.com
talk to Dorothee and tell her Paul from Ohio sent you. You can get a hotel, but the experience won't be the same. Checkout travelocity.com if you are indeed of something else. I also suggest Bahia Mar Beach Resort.

Gotcha. There's a Marriott, a Sheridan Yankee Clipper, and hell try the Bahia Cabana. All of them are within walking distance as well. Bahia Cabana might be your best bet since it's not exactly known on a national level. They also have a great bar! Hyatt Pier 66 is just up the road off 17th Street causeway too. Good luck!

I usually stay at the Doubletree Galleria. Its on the intracostal, about half way between the boat show and shooters. Water taxi stops right there. Not cheap, but convenient.
