Disclaimer: I have NO 1st hand experience with this ramp.

There is a ramp at the Fairview Beach Marina. It's less than a mile from Tim's.

If you are coming from the Baltimore area, I would not drive all the way down to Tim's. There are several ramps that are approx. a half hour by boat to Tim's. So, you can either spend 1 hr. in the truck and .5 hr in the boat or 2 hr. in the truck if you drive to Tim's.

Highly recommended.....

Another option is Smallwood State Park.

The Fairview ramp is not for boats much longer than a 28. Low tide it's pretty shallow leaving there as well.

Another option is Hope Springs Marina. It's about 5 miles off
I-95, exit 140. http://www.hopespringsmarina.com/

Leaving the marina there is a 5 minute no wake then follow the channel markers out of Aquia Creek. It will put you out on the Potomac about a mile north of Tims. Probably a leisurly 15-20 minute boat ride.
Driving the truck from Hope Springs to Tims would be about 30 min (in the morning with light traffic).

From Fells Point?

Take the Bay south, make a right at the Potomac and it will be a few miles after a big bridge on the right...

That's funny. Thanks for the laugh.

I check the weather, they are calling for rain. Should we run this weekend instead???????

Is Ricky Rocket coming? Tomcat?

I hear that they all have multiple boats on the VA. side of the river because they dont have any good boat mechanics. That way they can boat in one and work on the others. Besides everyone knows all the good boat mechanics are on the MD side of the Potomac.

Randy, at least my mechanic didnt tell me to bungy cord my shifters to keep them in gear. We have multiple boats for our multiple bi-aches. Should I take my hunk of junk BB to the same mechanic you took your OL to. My pockets arent deep enough. I did enjoy watching pops put it on son last week, that was good stuff. MM the cc's are blowin up in Port Tobacco. I think Mike is gonna run for pres. next year.

If you go south on the bay and hang a right at the potomac and pass the big bridge, Fairview is on the left ( the other right)
