they sound different thats for sure. I bet it would be much cooler if one of those rigs was running with a fleet of big block v8's.

Definitely not "offshore" and definitely Dubai.....I wonder how our US motors would stack up. I thought they raced mostly diesel over there but all of those boat were V12 (or so it seemed). Didn't Matt Alcone race in Europe and kick some Euro butt in the early 90's? :D

Bunch of nice rigs.
Cool sound also, but as mentioned above i wounder how they would stack against Big Chevy Blocks with blowers in the same boats. ;) |
The Lambos that Mercruiser played with in the 80's were about 850 HP, when they ran. They didn't finish often. The new one's are around 950 and seem to be more reliable. They made their horsepower with higher RPM and the torque suffered a bit from that. Definitely not good for a heavier boat. If you pilled the lambos from those cats and plopped a set of Sterling 1300's in there, they'd pick up some serious speed.
You can own a set of your own- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAIR-...QQcmdZViewItem These have been on Ebay about once a month for the last couple years- for the same price. |

Did anyone notice that when the helicopter flys right by, you never hear it? I wonder if someone added their own sountrack to the video.
