very instructive. Now I want to see the one where the water comes in the exhaust valve when it opens.

I keep looking and they edit out or omit the exhaust stroke. The exhaust valve opens, then the video skips ahead. Anyone know why?

I'm guessing just to shorten the clip because there's not a lot to see on the exhaust stroke.

I need those cameras on my engines...And on the play back you can see where the valve face seperated from the valve stem and starts to embed itself into the piston, the cumbustion chamber, and where it split the cylinder wide open. Now you see where all the sea water came from.

Amazing! I'd like to see the same video with the spark plug indexed to the intake valve. See if its a myth indexing helps even the burn. It interesting the way the fuel flames up around the intake valve. Must be puddling of fuel?

Thanks Strip!

Very cool. Takes me back to my engine lab days in college. Swirl, tumble, flame front, squish. There's a lot going on in there besides fuel and spark.
