Try almost 3 times. We were turning close to 17,000 rpm in our Honda's in 2000. Almost 1000 hp from 161 cubic inches, and only 6 inches of boost.....

Haven't kept up with Indy cars for a looong time. I knew they went about 14k, had no idea they went way more than that. Sick amount of HP out of those little beasties though.

That is definately not a marine engine, because the duration on the cam opens the exhaust valve way to early in the cycle. It looks like when the valve opens that the smoke swirl is still being drawn down into the cylinder.

Or are my eyes just bad.

Wonder what the center lobe is on that cam?
